About me: I am an independent vocalist and songwriter who is very passionate about my music. I've received most of my musical/vocal training and experience from the School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a (prior) active Army service member (and now Veteran), I won first place/out of 4,000 participants for female vocal soloist in the Army IV Cop talent competition. I’ve performed locally in my hometown at weddings, talent shows, school events, social events and our annual holiday celebrations. About the song: I wrote this song in dedication to my fiancé for our anniversary, to celebrate our love. When I first met him, he took my breath away and left me breathless. I believe love is an amazing force with a powerful transformative energy when it's real. I chose the "No Kid Hungry" charity because growing up as an impoverished child, I can relate to how it feels to be limited on food and going to bed hungry many times and many nights. I believe no child should ever experience a situation like being hungry. By donating to this charity, I would like to make a difference in a child's life.
