Modern Jive, is a Smooth Jazz cover of a Bernard Purdie composition. It was a song that I always wanted to record, and to have Dad (Purdie) be on the record with me, meant so much I chose the charity, National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI), to address the mental health crisis in my hometown of NYC, which is out of control. I am hope that my donation will be of help in some way.
