MY GIRL is a heartfelt tribute inspired by my beloved bass guitar. It all began with a vision of her, which led me to collaborate with the talented luthier Michael Tobias to bring her to life. When she was finally crafted, I was captivated by her beauty as she rested on her stand. In that moment, I knew she deserved her own song. And thus, "My Girl" was born. I hope you enjoy the music as much as I enjoyed creating it! I hold deep love and respect for our elderly, who have bestowed upon us the invaluable gift of life. Alzheimer's disease, a progressive brain disorder, leads to memory loss and confusion, making it the most common form of dementia. It deeply saddens me to witness the struggles faced by those affected by this condition. In response, I am committed to doing my part to help. After all, without our elders, we would not be who we are today.
