The Pink Pearls of Miramar Foundation is a heartfelt commitment to the youth of Miramar, Florida. Through college scholarships and partnerships with Independent Living Programs, we strive to offer not only financial support but also a foundation of belief in their potential. My own path was shaped by two profound forces: the challenge of working my way through school, and the unwavering strength of my mother, Rose Rolle. She was the cornerstone of my life and our community, whose guidance and discipline were only surpassed by her unconditional love. It was she who taught me that while the road may be challenging, no one should walk it alone. As a former educator, I have witnessed firsthand how education opens doors and transforms lives. It is in my mother's name and in honor of her love that I find the deepest joy in offering a hand up to young women as they begin their own journeys. Giving them this chance is more than fulfilling; it is a tribute to the legacy of a mother who believed that with love and support, anything is possible. I wrote this poem for you, Mommy, to thank you for everything.
